Paul Feutz defended a defendant before the specialized cybercrime chamber of the Paris Criminal Court.
He was initially accused of several offenses against automated data processing systems (ADPS), as well as organized fraud (phishing, fake bank advisor scams, premium-rate number scams), criminal conspiracy, and receiving stolen goods.
Paul Feutz demonstrated that only the offenses of premium-rate number fraud and receiving stolen goods were established, to the exclusion of all others.
The court, adopting this analysis, sentenced the defendant to a very lenient penalty and ordered his immediate release.
